2. Location Data & Zero Unsolicited Background Tracking
Pet Track never performs hidden background location tracking without your knowledge. GPS coordinates are only processed and stored when you explicitly use an opt-in location feature (such as recording a dog walk route, posting a lost pet alert, adding a neighborhood feeding/hazard spot, or sharing a finder GPS location on a QR collar scan). Bluetooth RSSI proximity signals are processed locally on your device.
3. International Data Transfers
Your data is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). Certain third-party services (Expo Push, Apple, Google) are located outside Türkiye and the EEA. Our transfers are not based on explicit consent, as continuous hosting and push services do not meet the occasional transfer exception under KVKK Art. 9/6.
4. Voluntary Veterinary Pairing
Pet health records are shared with veterinary practitioners strictly on the basis of explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1) via owner-generated 6-digit OTP codes. Consent can be revoked instantly at any time via the app.
